History of the European ground squirrel meetings
The first EGS Meeting took place in Felsőtárkány, Hungary in 2006, however an initial idea of a regular expert meeting originates from the international conference "Ecology and conservation of the European souslik (Spermophilus citellus)" Madjarovo, Bulgaria 2002.
